Our general terms and conditions:
The hire price includes flipchart, pin board, moderator’s case, screen, as well as provision, cleaning, heating and normal lighting.
Any damage will be charged to you.
The hirer is responsible for insuring the items brought in.
Standard menu cards are printed by us free of charge.
Special menu cards will be charged.
We are happy to organise your floral decorations. Costs according to expenditure.
Room reservations can be cancelled free of charge up to 15.00 (CET) at the latest, one day before arrival, otherwise the first night will be charged at 100%.
The following applies to cancellations of group reservations of 10 rooms or more:
0 – 10 days before: 100 % of the lost room revenue
11 – 14 days before: 75 % of the lost room revenue
15 – 30 days before: 50 % of the lost room revenue (due 30 days before arrival as advance payment) Cancellation for room contingents of 10 rooms or more is only possible free of charge up to 31 days before the confirmed arrival date.
Meetings or banquets
Cancellations of reservations for seminars, congresses, conferences, lectures, banquets and other events must be notified to Freienhof Thun AG in writing by the customer. If the reservation is cancelled in full and Freienhof Thun AG is not responsible for this, it will charge the customer the following cancellation fees for the reserved service:
15 – 20 days before the event: 50 %
3 – 14 days before the event: 75 %
0 – 2 days before the event: 100 %
Cancellations for event reservations can only be made free of charge up to 21 days before the confirmed event date.
We will charge the number of participants notified to us 48 hours before the event.
Refund / credit note at the discretion of the hotel, provided the new event takes place in the same year.
Dining in a separate room on the 2nd floor is possible from 30 people. If the number of people is smaller, we reserve the right to move the reservation to the restaurant. The cost of hiring the room is CHF 150.00.
From a menu price of CHF 45.00 per person and without drinks, the preparation costs are waived.
